Your expertise in every phase of the planning process was extremely valuable to us. Our first phone meeting was helpful and full of good, pragmatic suggestions – and it only got better from there. You were readily available to me ( and any of my volunteer staff) who had questions, and you talked us through some tricky issues as we got closer to auction night. But the true demonstration of your benefit to our organization was certainly on auction night. By God’s grace and with your able assistance we TRIPLED (yes, you read that right!) Your skill during the live auction coupled with your “Fund-A-Need” paddle-raiser were two key elements that night…helping us to net over $110,000 for CCS.

Everything from “I was worried that David wouldn’t do well with our crowd because he doesn’t know us – boy was I wrong!” to “Whatever we paid him, it wasn’t enough!” Your humorous presentation, your enjoyable style, your magic tricks and your emotional appeal at the end were all mentioned several times… and we so appreciate you working with us this year.

As we begin an ambitious building program this summer and embark on a capital campaign next fall for the next phase of our needed expansion, these dollars will be well spent!
